metascapes commissioned to build "Die Welt der Habsburger"

metascapes are currently extending Heritage 4 to meet the requirements of the "Welt der Habsburger" site. As the site will present the development of the Royal House of the Habsburgs in a vastly multimedial Flash interface combining imagery, animations, sound and video clips, metascapes initiated development of ks.amftool, which pulls all important Plone functionality to the Flash layer. As genealogical data will be available in the GEDCOM Standard, work on heritage.gedcomimport has been initiated, enabling to import data covering persons, families, their relations and included multimedial content to Heritage 4 content types. Later a GEDCOM exporter will enable a complete roundtrip between editing content within Heritage 4 and a GEDCOM capable editor.
